On this episode of The Engaging Marketeer podcast, we’ve got a very, very quick one for you as we approach the end of 2024. I’ve featured some amazing people on this podcast since I launched—almost 150 episodes ago now—and I am looking for more people. I am looking for guests, hopefully people like you.

I’m looking for someone who has a great story to share—something inspiring they’d like to tell, something they’ve overcome, or advice they have.

It could be something they’ve done in their business or in their personal life. It doesn’t have to be about marketing. That’s the thing about this podcast—for those of you who have listened to quite a few episodes, you’ll know it’s meant to be The Engaging Marketeer, but it does stray quite often from the marketing aspect.

Let’s be honest, a lot of the podcasts don’t really have much to do with marketing at all. I know that’s the name of it, but they’ve moved away from that a bit.

So, I’m not necessarily looking for marketing people. I’m not necessarily looking for web design, digital marketing, or SEO-type people. I’m looking for someone who could be running a business, setting up a business, working as a freelancer, employed, unemployed, a speaker, a coach, a trainer, an accountant, or a financial adviser.

It doesn’t really matter what you do. What matters is that you have something interesting to share—a story that’s worth telling.

Because I’m focusing on the engaging part of The Engaging Marketeer. The engaging part.

And let me let you in on a little secret. I haven’t told anybody this, but this podcast is going to be changing. It’s called The Engaging Marketeer now, but it’s not going to be called The Engaging Marketeer for too much longer. I’m going to be rebranding it ever so slightly, and we’ll probably drop the “Marketeer” word.

It’s going to be “Engaging” or “Engagers,” something like that.

So, we’re looking for engaging people. We’re looking for stories. We’re looking for something interesting, something unique—something that makes you YOU.

If you’re interested in appearing as a guest on The Engaging Marketeer, and you think you’ve got a story, please put your name forward. If you know somebody who has a great story to share, please put their name forward.

Particularly people in the UK. We don’t like to come forward and shout about ourselves. We don’t say, “Hey, get me on there! I’m brilliant! Put me in, coach!” That’s not a British thing. It’s an American thing.

And Americans are more than welcome on here as well. It doesn’t matter what part of the world you’re from—I’m interested in hearing from you.

If you’re thinking this is something you’d like to do, go to The Engaging Marketeer.com. That’s Engaging Marketeer.com. Just Google Engaging Marketeer, and you’ll find it. I’ll put the link below the podcast. I’ll include it in the YouTube description, in iTunes, and on Spotify.

You’ll see it. Just go there, click on “Be a Guest,” and fill in the form.

I’m looking for people to feature in 2025

Just to set expectations: as of right now, when I’m recording this—it’s the 10th of December—we already have interviews recorded, edited, and scheduled all the way up to the end of February 2025. So, we’re already into March with podcasts that are going out.

If you’re thinking, “Yeah, I’d be interested in being on The Engaging Marketeer, but I don’t really want to do it for a couple of months—I’ve got something I’d like to discuss in March or April,” then you need to get it booked in now.

You need to get it booked in now so we can get you recorded, edited, and scheduled for the date that suits you.

So please, once again, you don’t have to be in marketing. You don’t even have to be in business. I’ve interviewed students. It doesn’t matter!

If you’ve got something interesting or important to say, a story to share, go to The Engaging Marketeer website. Click on “Be a Guest,” fill in the form, let me know what you want to talk about, and we’ll get you booked in to be a guest on this podcast as we go into 2025.

That’s all I wanted to say—this is a very quick one this week as we end this year.

Thank you very much for being a listener all year. I absolutely appreciate it. Please leave me a review—if it’s a good one. If it’s a crap one, leave it for someone else, Alex Housie, or somebody—I don’t care!

And I’ll catch you on the next podcast.
