Become A Guest In 2025

(00:03) On this episode of The Engaging Marketeer Podcast, we’ve got a very, very quick one for you. As we approach the end of 2024, I’ve featured some amazing people on this podcast since I launched—almost 150 episodes ago now. And I am looking for more people. I am looking for guests, and hopefully, people like you.

I’m looking for someone that has a great story to share, someone that has something inspiring they’d like to share, to tell—something they’ve overcome, some advice that they have.

(00:53) Something they’ve done in their business or in their personal life. It doesn’t have to be marketing because that is the thing about this podcast. For those of you that have listened to quite a few episodes, you’ll know it’s meant to be The Engaging Marketeer, yeah, but it does stray quite often away from the marketing aspect.

A lot of the podcasts, let’s be honest, don’t really have much to do with marketing at all. I know that’s the name of it, but they have gone away from that quite a little bit. So, I’m not looking necessarily for marketing people.

(01:29) I’m not looking necessarily for web design, digital marketing, SEO-type people. I am looking for someone who could be… They could be running a business, they could be setting up a business, they could be a freelancer, they could be employed, they could be unemployed.

They could be a speaker, they could be a coach, they could be a trainer. They could be… they could be an accountant, they could be a financial adviser. It doesn’t really matter what you do. What matters is that you have something interesting to share, that you have a story that is worth telling.

(02:03) Because I’m going with the “engaging” part of The Engaging Marketeer. The “engaging” part.

And let me let you into a little secret—I have not told anybody this—but this podcast is going to be changing. It’s called The Engaging Marketeer now, but it’s not going to be called The Engaging Marketeer for too much longer because I am going to be rebranding it ever so slightly.

And we’re probably going to be dropping the “Marketeer” word. It’s going to be “Engaging,” “Engagers,” things like that. So, we’re looking for engaging people.

(02:43) We’re looking for stories. We’re looking for something interesting. We’re looking for something unique—something that makes you you.

So, if you are interested in appearing as a guest on The Engaging Marketeer… And please, if you think you’ve got a story, then please put your name forward.

If you know somebody who has a great story to share, then please put their name forward because—particularly people in the UK—we don’t like to come forward and shout about ourselves and say, “Hey, get me on there. I’m brilliant. Put me in, coach!”

(03:17) That’s not a British thing; it’s an American thing. And Americans are more than welcome on here as well. It doesn’t matter what part of the world you are from. I am interested in hearing from you.

If you are thinking, “This is something I want to do,” then please go to TheEngagingMarketeer.com. That’s EngagingMarketeer.com.

Just Google Engaging Marketeer—you’ll find it. I’ll put the link below the podcast. I’ll put it in the description in YouTube. I’ll put it in the description in iTunes and Spotify. You’ll see it.

Just go there, click on “Be a Guest,” click on “Be a Guest,” and fill in the form.

(03:37) Because I am looking for people to feature in 2025. And just to set expectations, as of right now, when I record this—and it is the 10th of December when I’m recording this one—we already have interviews recorded, edited, and scheduled going up to the end of February 2025.

So, we’re getting into March already for podcasts that are going to go out.

So, if you’re thinking, “Yeah, I’d be interested in being on The Engaging Marketeer, but I don’t really want to do it for a couple of months. I’ve got something that maybe it’s going to go out in March or April, and I’m interested in doing it for then,” you need to get it booked in now.

(04:19) You need to get it booked in now, because then we can get you in, get you recorded, get you edited, and get you scheduled for the date that’s going to suit you.

So, please, once again, you don’t have to be in marketing. You don’t even have to be in business. I’ve interviewed students.

It doesn’t matter. If you’ve got something interesting, something that is important to say, a story to share—get to the Engaging Marketeer website. Click on “Be a Guest,” fill in the form, let me know what you want to talk about, and we will get you booked in to be a guest on this podcast going into 2025.

(04:47) So, that’s all I wanted to say. This is a very quick one this week as we end this year. Thank you very much for being a listener all year. I absolutely appreciate it.

Please leave me a review as well—if it’s a good one. If it’s a crap one, leave it for someone else, Alex Housi or somebody—I don’t care.

And I will catch you on the next podcast.
